The Domestic Sewage Treatment Plant (also called a Johkasou or packaged STP ) is a plug-and-play domestic sewage recycling solution designed for residential villas, farms, small communities, hotels, resorts, labor camps, and rural areas.

Using the A2O biological treatment process (Anaerobic–Anoxic–Aerobic) and advanced MBBR biofilm technology, the Johkasou efficiently removes BOD, COD, TSS, nitrogen, phosphorus and other impurities from domestic wastewater.

1. Oil & Sedimentation Chamber – Removes oil, grease, sand, and heavy solids.
2. Anaerobic Tank – Breaks down macromolecules, releases phosphorus, and reduces organic load.
3. Anoxic Tank – Denitrification process converts nitrates to nitrogen gas, reducing nitrogen levels.
4. Aerobic Contact Oxidation Tank – Uses bio-media and aeration for nitrification, BOD & COD reduction, and phosphorus uptake.
5. Secondary Sedimentation Tank – Settles suspended solids; treated water discharged meeting discharge standards.
